ALL adult students must have at least 10 hours of drive time before taking a behind the wheel with Right Away Driving School. You will need a valid instruction permit before scheduling a lesson.

WHAT IS YOUR
AVAILABILITY FOR
BEHIND THE WHEEL?:
We do behind the wheel during the day and evening. There will always be more flexibility during the day in the school year. The reason for that is because most of our students need afternoon and evening hours. Afternoon and evening hours during the school year book out fast! The rule of thumb is that those time slots will be at least 3 weeks out. Behind the wheel sessions usually run Monday-Friday. We also have SOME Saturday appointments.
ONE-ON-ONE CLASS
SESSIONS:
One-on-one class sessions take place at our main location in Forest Lake on Highway 97. Call 651-253-7977 to make an appointment. One-on-one sessions are for people who want to get a better understanding of the rules of the road before taking the knowledge test.
We also offer a one-on-one option followed up by a permit test! You will need to bring your social security number, and if applicable; out of state credentials, MN ID card or Motorized Bicycle Permit. Once you complete the permit test you will need to make an appointment at the local DMV to apply and receive your permit.
