Making Payment:
In order for your spot in class to be secured, you must make payment. If we do NOT receive a payment from you, you are NOT signed up for class. Please see payment plans above. Please stick to the payment plans above. Failure to stick to payment plans will result in an upcharge.
All down payments are non-refundable aka we don’t do refunds.
If you receive a Forbidden Message, please do not pay a 2nd time. If you have concerns please check in with us

Your Student’s Flexi Login:
Your student will receive an email from Flexi Quiz to the student's email provided at registration.
(These emails will be sent on the Wednesday before class starts)

Class Rundown:
Class will run Monday through Friday.
Each morning by 10 AM, we will upload the day’s coursework to your Flexi Dashboard.
Students have until 11:59 PM that same day to complete the work with a passing score.
Daily outlines will help your student stay on track and verify they are watching the videos.
(Most answers are not "Googleable"—this ensures students are actively watching the teaching videos. )No individual notifications will be sent for failing scores, missing assignments, or make-up days.
All expectations and required scores are clearly outlined on the Flexi Dashboard.
We encourage parents to log in and check your student's progress regularly!Look for this image on your task list your teaching video will be right below it
Flexi Test Score Info (READ THIS!):
“Needed today” = You must hit that score before you leave class
“Once corrected” = A team member will review and update your score
Flexi may mark your answers wrong if there are spelling errors or the answer isn't typed exactly right, so double-check before submitting!
Parent Access Reminder:
We encourage your parent/guardian to log into your Flexi Dashboard
They can:
See your progress
Check any missing work
We won’t message you about low quiz scores.
If you fail a quiz and don’t fix it… that’s on you!
Remember: If you're going to be behind the wheel of a car, you should know the difference between a 60% and a 70%!
Blue Slips – What to Know:
Blue Slips will be uploaded directly to the DMV – no physical cards are issued anymore.This applies whether your student is testing with us or at the DMV.
IMPORTANT: Do not go to the DMV for testing until you've received an email from us confirming:Your student has passed Driver’s EdThe Blue Slip has been uploaded to the DMV
Permit Test:
What to bring to the permit test after completing the 30-hour classroom instruction:
Blue Slip (As of April 1st, 2025, Blue Cards can now be uploaded to the DMV webpage)
Social Security Card (or know the number)
Current Secondary School ID (grades 7-12) with student’s name and photograph
Original Birth Certificate (not a photocopy)
Parent/Legal Guardian (required at the DMV when applying for the permit)
Permit Test Scheduling Options:
Take the Permit Test at Our Main Office in Forest Lake
You can take the permit test on the last day of class if you make an appointment.
Reminder: You need to have completed all 10 days of Drivers Ed, be 15 years old, and pass the final with 80% to take the permit test and have all passing scores on your flexi dashboard.

Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Lessons:
Start scheduling BTW about 1 month after practicing with your student. 3 private, 2-hour lessons
Space them out — about 1 per month, ideally one every other month over the course of the 6 months to a year Must have a valid permit at each lesson $50 cancellation fee for:No permitCanceling <48 business hours in advanceSick notice <5 hours before After all 3 lessons are completed, your student's white card will be uploaded to the dmv. Cancellation Policy:
Your contract with Right Away Driving is valid for two years.
Students must have a valid instruction permit for each lesson.
$50 cancellation fee if a student doesn’t have a valid permit or cancels with less than 48 business hours' notice.
If your student is sick, we require 5 hours’ notice to avoid the cancellation fee.
Completion Card The DMV is now paperless:
Once your student completes all 3 lessons, Please allow up to 5 business days for us to upload your white card. REMEMBER you will NOT be able to take the road test without the white card so please keep the 5 business days in mind to save yourself the headache
We recommend scheduling the road test in advance.
For an extra fee, we offer an optional service to schedule and transport your student to the testing facility in one of our driver's ed cars immediately after their third BTW lesson.
