Third Behind-the-Wheel Lesson + Road Test Option – $100 Add-On

This option includes your 3rd behind-the-wheel (BTW) lesson and your road test appointment.
The $100 fee is due on the day of the lesson/test and is non-refundable.

What’s Included:

When you select this add-on:

✅ We will schedule both your 3rd BTW lesson and your driver’s road test for you.
✅ You do not need to coordinate the 3rd lesson yourself – we’ll take care of it!

Note: If you live outside the Forest Lake area, we will do our best to arrange pickup at a location near you.

However, this is not guaranteed.
Because our specially trained instructors conduct up to 3 road tests per day, students from Chisago and other areas may need to meet at our Forest Lake office.

What to Expect:

  1. 2-Hour Behind-the-Wheel Lesson

    • Conducted near our meeting point and in the area where your road test will take place.

  2. Road Test at the DMV

    • At the end of your lesson, we’ll drive directly to the DMV.

    • Your instructor will exit the vehicle, and the DMV examiner will conduct your road test using the same car you just practiced in.

  3. After the Test

    • A parent or legal guardian must meet you at the testing center to transport you home.

    • If the DMV is able to process your license immediately after the test, you can receive your license at that time.

    • Please note: Only a parent can sign off at the DMV. Siblings, aunts/uncles, or other adults cannot do this. If a parent cannot attend, you may return to the DMV with them later to complete the licensing process.

DMV Appointment Scheduling

As of October 1, 2022, the DMV only schedules appointments 30 days in advance.
This means:

  • You may not hear from us right away after signing up.

  • Rest assured, we’re working to schedule your road test.

  • We schedule tests based on the order we receive intake forms, so the sooner you submit yours, the better your chances of securing your preferred date.

Cancellation Policy (Effective 03/01/2024)

  • Cancellations require at least 2 business days' notice.
    Failure to provide timely notice will result in a $100 missed lesson fee.

  • The DMV may also apply a $20 no-show fee if a road test appointment is missed.
